1. Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods for purchases at Karan’s Kava:

  • Major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)

  • Google Pay (where available)

  • Other payment methods displayed at checkout (e.g., JCB, UnionPay, Maestro)

2. Currency & Pricing

  • All prices shown on the website are in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated.

  • Your bank or card issuer may convert AUD into your local currency (for example when shipping internationally). Any foreign‐exchange conversion or overseas transaction fee is your responsibility.

  • We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice, but once you have placed your order and we have accepted it, the price is locked in for that order.

3. Payment Timing

  • Payment is taken at the time you place your order. You will see the payment authorized or charged during checkout.

  • We will not dispatch your order until the payment has been successfully processed.

  • In the rare case of payment failure (for example, card declined or verification not passed), we will contact you to provide an alternative payment method or cancel the order.

4. Order Confirmation & Invoice

  • After placing your order and completing payment, you will receive an order confirmation email from us (sent to the email you provided at checkout).

  • This email acts as your invoice and receipt for the transaction. Please keep it for your records.

5. Payment Security

  • We use secure payment gateways to ensure that your card or payment information is handled safely.

  • We do not store complete credit card data on our servers.

  • Please ensure you are comfortable with the method of payment and the currency conversion (if any) before completing your purchase.

6. International Orders

  • For customers outside Australia: please check that your payment method supports international transactions.

  • Additional fees may apply (for example currency conversion or overseas transaction fees) – these are charged by your bank/issuer and are outside our control.

  • Once payment is confirmed, your order will be dispatched in line with our Shipping Policy.

7. Cancellations and Changes

  • If you wish to cancel or change your order after payment, please contact us as soon as possible via our Contact Us page:

  • If we have not yet processed your order, we may be able to cancel or adjust it. Once your order has been dispatched, it will fall under the terms of our Return Policy.

8. Refunds for Payment Issues

  • If a refund is due (for example you return an item under our Refund Policy), the refund will be processed to the original payment method. Karans Kava

  • Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund to your account.

9. Payment Disputes

  • If you notice a charge on your statement you believe is incorrect, please contact us first at sales@karanskava.com so we can investigate.

  • Failure to notify us may cause delays or complications with any chargebacks or disputes initiated via your bank or card issuer.

10. Additional Terms

  • By placing an order and completing payment via our website, you agree to our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Refund Policy.

  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for which payment is not verified or cleared.
